Android Supported Devices

The Spire app is compatible with most Android phones. To see if your phone is compatible, kindly check your phone's Google Play Store for "Spire" to see if you can download the Spire app to your phone prior to purchase. Android devices running OS 5.0 and newer which also support Bluetooth 4.0 with BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) should be compatible with the Spire App. Phones manufactured prior to 2015 may have compatibility issues.

If you're experiencing issues downloading the app, try clearing the cache for the Google Play Store on the device you're experiencing compatibility issues with and then install any system updates by following these steps:

    •    Open your device's main Settings app.

    •    Select About or System updates (depending on your device, this may be slightly different).

    •    If an update is available for download, follow the on-screen instructions.

If you're still not able to install the app after installing any system updates, try removing and adding your Google Account on your device and then try downloading the app once again. Here's how:

Removing your Google Account:

1    Open your device's Settings app.

2    Under "Accounts," touch Google and then the account you want to remove.

3    Touch the Menu icon in the top right corner of the screen.

    4    Touch Remove account.

Add Google Account:

1    Open your device's Settings app.

2    Under "Accounts," touch Add account > Google.

3    Follow the instructions to add your account.
